Catalog-first commerce studio · Kyiv

Storefronts built to survive a real product catalog.

Ledgerline Commerce maps categories, variants, filters and redirects before a single page is styled. Then we wire local payment statuses and stock rules so your team sees exceptions before customers do.

Written into the handover checklist

  1. Across four 2025 storefront engagements, counted at catalog freeze.
  2. Provider ledger export versus order table, live and test split.
  3. Webhook round trip measured from warehouse update to storefront stock badge.
  4. Oversell, reserved cart, negative stock, and multi-warehouse mismatch cases.

Catalog architecture

Category, then variant, then stock rule.

The catalog is mapped before a single storefront page is designed. Attributes, filters, import fields and stock rules are settled in a working matrix, so a variant name never quietly decides what is buyable.

Working matrix excerpt: rules resolved at cart level
Variant Attributes Rule at cart
Home coffee / brewers
Pour-over 02 Matte black, 600 ml Reserve on add, block oversell
Immersion Sand, 800 ml, gift box Low stock guard at 5
Grinders

Electric grinder Burr set, 38 mm Backorder allowed, 7 day lead
Filters and paper
Filter pack 100 pcs, size 02 Bundle override, single SKU stock
  • Amber marks an exception, never a category. Low stock, negative stock and warehouse mismatch carry it; healthy rows stay quiet.
  • Each rule becomes an acceptance test and a redirect entry before launch, so payment and inventory screens agree with the catalog.

Integration ledger

Payment providers, wired and monitored.

Every provider we connect gets an adapter, an explicit status map, and a reconciliation check against the order total. Test and live keys are tracked separately, so nothing reaches production untested. Merchant approval and provider terms stay with the provider.

Status dots describe adapter test coverage and reconciliation checks, not the state of a merchant account.

Inventory operations

Stock counts that surface the exceptions, not just the total

Reserved carts, low stock, negative stock and multi-warehouse splits are flagged at the row level. Oversell rules sit on the variant, so a warehouse can stop a sale before the item reaches a customer.

  • Reserved: carts held for 30 minutes
  • Available: on hand minus reserved
  • Amber rows need a decision today

Each exception row carries a resolution rule and an owner in the handover checklist.

05 / Implementation sequence

Six ruled phases, each closing with an artifact

Scope is fixed at paid discovery. Every phase ends with a document you can audit before the next one opens, so catalog, payment and stock logic do not drift mid-build.

Next step

Begin with a paid discovery sprint, not a blind quote

We map the catalog matrix, the payment adapters, and the inventory exceptions first. Fixed tiers follow once the scope is written down.
